As a member of the National Pawnbrokers Association, Manhattan Gold & Silver is ready to serve all of your precious metal recycling needs. Pawnbrokers can take advantage of our quick turnaround with same-day precious metal assaying of objects containing gold, silver, platinum or palladium. We’re happy to process your lot while you wait—and can typically have you in and out in less than an hour. If you can’t visit one of our two locations, we’re happy to accept your lot via mail. Pawnbrokers who choose to ship metals to us are eligible for quick payments via wire transfer. All items, whether shipped or brought to us in person, are inspected carefully by our expert staff and then tested for metal content and purity.
Depending on your unique needs and the composition of your lot we can either hand test the items or melt and utilize machine or fire assay. We accept precious metals from all types of applications, and any broken or incomplete sets of silverware or jewelry can still be valuable when you exchange them for their weight in precious metals. Our onsite smelting operation ensures that you get the most for your money, as we do all of the work in house. Prices are set every day to the London Gold Exchange.
